01. The Briefing
The client, Asitek Cocinas, told me of their need for a simple website, easy to navigate and above all in accordance with and personalised to each kitchen model shown.
For this project the client required three services:
02. UX/UI Design
I started by making some sketches on paper and a modeboard inspired by the interior designers’ modeboards.
I was inspired by the colours of the kitchens, bathrooms and projects of Asitek Cocinas and created a colour palette that could be used for the whole website and be in tune with all the pages.
Once I had the colour palette, I continued with a key element for the design of this website: The typography. I wanted to give a special «handmade» touch to the website, inspired by the fact that each person could personalize their own kitchen, and that each one was an author’s design, a unique piece.
That’s why I chose a cursive Serif font as a secondary typography. This way we transmitted that «personalised touch».
Once I had the colours, typography and content of the website, I moved on to the information architecture. For this, I used the «Card sorting» categorisation technique, which helped me to organise the content and create the user flow of the website.
03. Development & Results
With all these aspects in place, I went live and opened figma!
After several approval processes and changes, I moved on to the development of the website in WordPress.
